My gallery is in constant development and is not ever modified or filtered in anyway. I will never remove an image for a technical flaw or to better represent my growth as a person and as an artist. My entire history as a photographer is and always will be presented within.

Hey Everyone!

I might as well introduce myself. My name is Chantry Cargill, I'm 19 years old, and I've lived my entire life in Northern Ontario. My hobbies include: middle distance track and cross-country running, photography, walking, enjoying nature, thinking, going out in the rain, being active, and enjoying life.

Photography is my way of stepping out of my everyday life and releasing some creativity. None of my "work" is meant to impress anyone, nor is it made to coincide with photographic trends or expectations. I generally do it mostly for myself, but that's not saying I do not want other people to enjoy it too.

Feel free to browse through my gallery anyway. There's always the chance that you will find something something you enjoy or that you can relate to :).

:iconevil-genius-23:
so...what're you up to these days? getting ready for uni like me?
:iconchantryphotography:
Yep :D:D:D!!

I'm so excited .. It's going to be crazy being away from home, but I'm going to have the time of my life. We're just getting all the stuff I need in the next week and then we're leaving in time for me to move in on the Wednesday a week from next.

All I have been doing is running, working, partying, and relaxing whenever I have the time. I haven't really had the urge to do any photography though (mostly because I'm so busy).

When are you moving in? And what have you been up to? Still doing any photography?

I'm so pumped too! I'm now going to University of Waterloo instead of McMaster. They sent me a late acceptance and I switched! I'm moving in on the 6th of September, it's a sunday and frosh starts on tuesday! :D

I just got back a week ago from a vacation in Pakistan, which was friggin sweet. And the month of Ramadan just started for us Muslims so I'm fasting now. It's hard, fasting...you have no idea how many random food cravings I have everyday. For example, I REALLY want souvlaki right now.

I've been trying to do photography but it's so hard to concentrate on that when all I think about is food or university lol. I haven't even started packing yet...:O

We're going to have zero time for dA after we move in, aren't we? Engineering is going to be tough, but rewarding!
:iconchantryphotography:
Oh niiccce :D .. waterloo looks like a nice school. Although, going away for any university is awesome, haha.

I'm so jealous you got to go to Pakistan! It's so beautiful there. Did you do any photography while you were there? I know what you mean with the hung thing too, haha. I couldn't eat for a week when I had surgery last year and I suddenly had the weirdest craivings for basically .. everything at the same time. What's slouvlaki though?

And I have a feeling I will probably be dissapearing off of the face of the internet when I go to university and that may include facebook too :o.

:iconevil-genius-23:
Definitely. Life is going to take on a very dramatic change. I'm so pumped. It's really beautiful in Waterloo... For sure better than sucky old Markham (where I just moved to).

Pakistan is also REALLY beautiful. But I'm biased like that cuz I was born there :), even though I've lived most of my life in the Middle East/Canada. I didn't take many photos of Pakistan itself. Most of them are of my relatives and friends who still live there. I wish I had taken more, now that I'm back. :(

Exactly. Google image souvlaki. If you like chicken then, trust me, you'll drool. :P

Yeah, I don't think I'll be around dA after sept 14th when classes start. Hey, still going to paint yourself purple for frosh?
:iconchantryphotography:
Wish I could!

I just don't have any time these days. How are you doing though?

:icondudewithbraces:
Aw man! Why are you so busy? I'm doing super good! :)
:iconchantryphotography:
Well, I was working full time every day and now I'm headed to university to study chemical engineering. On top of that, I also have running, which takes up quite a bit of time in itself.

The only time I really have is on weekends, but I'm usually doing something so I don't have any time to do much photography. It kind of sucks, but what can you do? :P
